Indonesia has numerous dive sites. Here are magnificent diving sites in Indonesia:

Pulau Weh, Aceh

The first diving in Indonesia is Pulau Weh. Pulau Weh dive sites is varied and most complete diving. Pulau Weh which is situated at the western tip of Indonesia is one of the favorite tourist diving destinations. People also call for Pulau Weh is Sabang, which is certainly more familiar to the ear. There are at least 20 diving spots in Pulau Weh with various levels of difficulty. Divers who are beginners or experts can enjoy the beauty of this underwater paradise.

Karimunjawa Islands, Central Java

The Karimunjawa Islands group is a paradise for divers in Java. There are around 27 islands with amazing underwater views. Karimunjawa offers the charming natural ecosystem of the Java Sea. On March 15 2001, Karimunjawa was designated as a National Park!

You can see beautiful coral reefs and rare marine life such as green turtles here. The Karimunjawa Islands have more than 30 diving spots for divers.

Wakatobi Sea, Southeast Sulawesi

Another underwater paradise in eastern Indonesia, precisely in Wakatobi. The Wakatobi Sea is the habitat of more than 25 species of coral reefs which attract the attention of divers from all over the world. No wonder Wakatobi was named a national park by UNESCO in 1996.

Wakatobi has around 40 diving spots spread across 4 islands, namely Wangi Wangi, Binongko, Tomia and Kaledupa. The varying depths of Wakatobi's sea make it friendly for all divers, both beginners and professionals.

The deepest reaches 1,044 meters below sea level with a visibility of only 15 to 80 meters. There are even several spots directly bordering the Banda Sea which have underwater views that are no less amazing!

Gili Islands, NTT

The charm of the underwater beauty of the Gili Islands is famous abroad. Popular spots include Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno, and Gili Air. The Gili Islands underwater park is a habitat for various kinds of rare animals that are difficult to find elsewhere. For example, moray eels, thousands of ornamental fish, and turtles that swim freely.

Derawan cluster, East Kalimantan

The Derawan Islands are now a group of islands that are very famous among tourists, both domestic and foreign. Especially those who are curious about life under the sea.

The Derawan Archipelago consists of 31 island groups such as Maratua Island, Sangalaki Island, Derawan Island and Kakaban Island. Kakaban Island is one of the most popular because it has a variety of amazing underwater animals such as 4 types of stingless jellyfish.

Morotai Island, North Maluku

Morotai is called a tropical paradise in Maluku. This island, which is at the tip of North Maluku, is a hidden gem that is currently on the rise among divers. The underwater beauty that is still authentic and untouched makes Morotai Island one of the best diving spots in Indonesia.

Not only thousands of underwater biota can be found in the waters of Morotai Island. Divers can also see the wrecks of warships and wrecks of war planes from the time of World War II only at a depth of 20-30 meters.

Bunaken, North Sulawesi

The charm of the Bunaken marine park is no stranger to local and international divers. Bunaken is touted as one of the most beautiful marine parks in the world because the colorful coral reefs are diverse and look very beautiful.

Not only that, the diversity of animals that inhabit Bunaken waters is also the main attraction similar like Sumatra wildlife tour. The divers will be treated to views of dolphins, dugongs, and ancient coelacanth fish that are passing by. Bunaken has approximately 20 diving spots and the deepest is 1,344 meters below sea level.
